Count on masks to bring us closer.
Mecklenburg County has partnered with several community agencies to distribute two million protective masks to residents in the greater Charlotte area.
COVID-19 is a serious health threat and can be spread by people who do not have symptoms or do not know they are infected. Wearing a mask may slow the spread of the virus by preventing people from transmitting the virus to others.
We can’t see the virus. But when you wear a mask, we’ll see that you care about others, our economy and our community. Please do your part. In the end, it will bring us closer. Can we count on you?
